1000 Yards (everyone’s favourate range) and it rained, and it blew and then it rained some more, and then it blew some more from a different direction, and we all had such great fun!
Numbers in attendance were down due to members participating in State target rifle team trials and the forecast for unpleasant weather. Nevertheless, twenty brave souls battled the elements, but excellent aggregate scores were unachievable. James Spence top-scored in TR with 96.3 while good scores in the conditions were achieved by Wayne Blair (FSA), John Stevens (F/TR) and Andy Kansky (FO).
Wayne had a cracker group in his second string to score 64.4 with an awesome elevation of just over 4″ (See photo below). Thomas Noonan, coached by dad, Peter, also shot a 64.4 in his second string. Well done, Natives.

Cocks of the Walk at 1000 Yards.
Wayne Blair ponders his awesome second-string group at 1000 yards and is undoubtedly thinking why can’t I do that all the time?
