It was 1000 yards and the wind blew and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth!
The wind was predominantly from 11.00 o’clock (SE) but at times it quickly flicked across the range catching shooters unaware resulting in shots landing in the outer scoring rings! No-one in TR cracked the 100 mark with Bob Crawford top-scoring with 99.09.
Brad Ruthven had the best result in the scope classes with 117.7 in FO. The sporter classes also struggled with George Constantinou top scoring with 99.6.
A special mention to Dominique Buckland returning from a short absence with a brand-new sporter rifle with a bright red paint scheme by Bretto Clarkson. Looking great, Natives!
