Seventeen members of the Natives Club were among the 198 competitors who participated in the 2023 QRA Kings Prize Series of competitions.
Jessica Crawford came a close second in TR-A to the seemingly perpetual winner, James Corbett of Katandra while Bob Crawford (9th) and Kim O’Loghlen (10th) were also amongst the badges in that grade.
Jessica’s top score as a Queensland competitor in the Kings won her the Queensland Championship trophy.
In TR-B, Rudi Mueller was 5th while Ian Errington picked up the 9th badge.
In F-Std-B grade Lee Kitching won 10th badge while in F-Open Oliver Ploch won 8th badge and in F-TR John Stevens won 4th badge and Brett Clarkson won 7th badge.
In the Grand Aggregate of the combined scores of the Duncan Series and the Kings Prize, badges were awarded to Natives members Bob Crawford (6th) and Kim O’Loghlen (10th) in TR-A, Rudi Mueller (3rd) in TR-B, Oliver Ploch (3rd) in F-Open while John Stevens took out the coveted No.1 badge in F-TR.
The QRA this year awarded inaugural QRA State Championship Badges exclusively to QRA members in the Grand Aggregate in each grade. In Target Rifle these new badges were won by Bob Crawford and Kim O’Loghlen, Oliver Ploch in F-O and John Stevens and Brett Clarkson in F-TR.
