Native’s members have excelled at the Crows Nest Goombungee prize meeting held on Sunday, February 8th with Oliver Ploch (FO) and Megan Davern (S-PCO) each winning their respective disciplines while Zyden Wiid shooting in TR-A grade came a very credible third to seasoned competitors, Ash Bidgood and Hamish O’Donnell both from the Crows Nest G/bungee club.
Oliver was top of the pops for the weekend in FO having finished second in the Sweepstake on Saturday by a single super-centre! Congratulations, Oliver on a weekend of solid shooting.
Megan’s win was extra special as this is her first in open competition having only taken up shooting late last year. Great things to come, Megan!
Zyden has shown consistent improvement in the last couple of years and, while still a junior member, has previously won the QRA 2025 B-Grade Kings Prize and Grand Aggregate so it’s little wonder that he has been able to take it up to Queensland’s top shooter, coach and team captain, Ash Bidgood! Congratulations, Zyden on another very mature shoot!
