Shane Abood of the Albert Central Rifle Club won the 2026 TR-A Grade QRA Kings Prize which concluded on Sunday, August 16th. 

High scores were achieved by many competitors on the first day but strong southerly winds which fishtailed up the range on Saturday and Sunday during the long ranges caused scores to tumble across the board.

Natives’ members, Josh Pratt and Bob Crawford, finished in the top ten in TR-A Grade while Lyle Vinter took out 7th place in TR-B Grade.  

Tom Noonan came a very creditable 4th in F-Std-B following his 2nd place in the Duncan Series all of which placed him 2nd in the Grand Aggregate.

The Natives’ talented contingent in Sporter-PCO saw Ricky Chalk take out 2nd Badge while club mates, Adam Gardiner and Brett Clarkson, finished 4th and 5th respectively.
