Natives Club member supports Paralympians

Natives Rifle Club member, Catherine Berry, recently returned from Tokyo, Japan.  Catherine relates her experience:

It was an amazing experience. I was appointed the Technical assistant by Shooting Australia and travelled with three Australian Athletes. Natalie Smith and Anton Zappelli in Rifle and Chris Pit in Pistol. My role was to assist the Athletes with all and everything related to being at the range and getting ready for their competition.  This Paralympics Games was like no other due to the COVID 19 restriction and really noticeable with no Spectators allowed at the Events and you would see these massive grand stands with no one seated. Being in the Athletes Village was fantastic, to see all the Athletes from every country just doing their daily things, I had to not get a bit star struck at times. The Japanese People where just so lovely and helpful and made the whole Paralympics Games fantastic. I feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to be involved with the Australian Athletes and travel to Tokyo for this unbelievable experience.

We have been missing Catherine Berry, as she has been off doing a very good thing helping our Paralympic Shooters in Tokyo.
