Native’s Club members took out several podium finishes at the two-day MDRA Prize Meeting held on Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13.
In TR-A Grade, Bob Crawford put on a masterly display of marksmanship to win both daily aggregates. Bob was pushed by his son, Riley, who finished second over the two days after coming second on Day-1 and third on Day-2. Also vying for honours on Day-2 was Piers Cambridge who split Bob and Riley by finishing second on the day.
In TR-B, Lyle Vinter came out on top in the Grand Aggregate after a ding-dong battle with Joseph Noonan who won Day-1 but had to settle for second place on Day-2 to Lyle. Club mate, Warwick Thomas, shot very consistently to take third place in each of the daily aggregates and the Grand Aggregate.
John Stevens, having just returned from a successful trip to Bisley, finished in second place in F-TR.
Karlen Klopper picked up the Grand Aggregate number two badge in S-PCO holding out clubmate, Ricky Chalk, in third place.
Not satisfied with a clean-sweep in TR-A Grade, Bob Crawford also won the lucky-bullseye which he shot himself!!! Very suspicious if you ask me!
Well done, Natives!
