A record number of competitors sweltered in very hot and humid conditions with mainly light to moderate winds leading to some excellent scores over the two days.

The burgeoning Sporter classes were only outnumbered each day by the combined TR classes and were significantly larger than the other disciplines. 

Natives’ member, Josh Pratt, took out the headline Les Perrin Memorial match for the two-day aggregate in TR-A while club mates Zyden Wiid won TR-B and Max Van Roo won FS-A.

In the Carina Leagues Club short range match Karen Heald won TR-B while Tom Noonan won FSB.

The Gun Traders long range match saw Josh Pratt win TR-A while Max Van Roo won FSB and George Constantinou won S-PCO.   

Congratulations to George Constantinou who was the only person on the range in any discipline to go through the two days without dropping a point.  Great shooting, George!

After the end of the main competition the top ten TR scorers shot off shoulder to shoulder at 1000 yards for the Keith Affleck Belt which Hamish Pollock of the University of Qld club won by count-back from Leigh Marett of Natives, both having shot excellent 50.5s!

Similarly, the top three scorers in each of the F-Class disciplines shot off for the Wild Dog Custom Rifle trophy while the top three scorers in the Sporter disciplines shot off for the Beretta Australia trophy. See the list of winners below.
