Steve Negus of the Canberra Rifle Club continued on his winning way with a clean sweep in the NQRA Championships held in Townsville from May 14th to 18th.

In the Wilson lead-up match Natives members, Don Thompson and Garry Gee, finished 2nd and 3rd in TR-B with club-mate, Domonic Whalan in 5th place.

In the Kings series Natives members, Don Thompson, Domonic Whalan and John Caske took out 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively in TR-B.

In the TR-B Grand Aggregate, Don Thompson was 2nd, Dominic Whalan 4th, Garry Gee 5th and John Caske 7th.

A large field of 172 entries competed over the five days with just 26 in TR with no C Grade entries while there were 129 in all the F-Class disciplines and 17 in Sporter class.  Times, they are a changing!
