A contingent of Natives Club members travelled to Sydney to compete in the NSWRA’s Covid-19 delayed 2021 Championships held from 26 – 29th January, 2022.

TR A grade competitors Bob and Jessica Crawford and Steve Smith together with FT-R shooter, Scott Mitchell performed extremely well against the best fullbore shooters in Australia.  As a testiment to this, in TRA in the McIntosh Series there were four possible 300 point scores while in the Queens TRA there were again four possible 500 point scores.  Donna Negus of Bungendore ACT went through the whole program without dropping a shot, scoring 800.102 in the Grand Aggregate.  Tough competition indeed!

A highlight for Natives was a perfect 50.10 at 700 yards from Steve Smith, one of six at that range!  In FT-R, Scott Mitchell was hot out of the blocks with a 2nd place in the McIntosh, 1st in Queens Stage #1 and 2nd in the Grand Aggregate.
