The QRA 2022 Australia Day Two-Day Prize Meeting was held on Saturday and Sunday, January 22 and 23, 2022.
Saturday’s competition consisted of 10 shots at each of double 500 yards and double 600 yards.
The weather was generally sunny with moderate winds but a short but heavy rain storm caught some shooters on the mound at the first 600 yards drenching them and their equipment – not very pleasant!
Natives members acquitted themselves well on the day with Kim O’Loghlen and Don Thompson (TR-A), Isaac Brinin and Bas Hopkins (TR-B), Warwick Thomas (TR-C), Brian Pickles (FS-A) and Scott Mitchell (FT-R) claiming podium finishes in the range aggregates.
