Conditions were relatively benign for Canberra except for the 2nd 800 metres on the afternoon of the second stage when strong winds fishtailed down the range, flicking from side to side and catching many shooters on the wrong side of zero and resulting in quite low scores, including those of very experienced competitors! During the Queens, temperatures reached 30 degrees on each day creating challenging conditions for all competitors. Nothing too unusual about that for the Canberra Range!
